The Centre places a strong emphasis on Justice, and more specifically, on Intersectional Justice.

An expansion on what is commonly understood as Social Justice, Intersectional Justice broadens the scope of the concept to ensure that all marginalised groups are considered. Intersectional Justice looks forward to dismantling systems that oppress marginalised groups, both socially and financially.  Think of it similarly to an actual intersection,  for all people and vehicles to safely and productively co-exist and travel,  all must be considered: from Pedestrians,  to Cars,  to cyclists,  to motorcyclists,  and to large commercial vehicles. If we miss even one of the parties when considering the most functional crossroads,  people get hurt. If we saw a road not functioning as it should do,  we would fix it.

Intersectional Justice also includes Environmental Justice, emphasizing our responsibility to recognize our impact and act as Earth’s stewards.

Our desire for momentum in Justice work is perpetual and ongoing; we believe that as the parameters of the definition of Justice shift and widen,  so must the work that we do as a collective. We are consistently open to suggestion and discourse on how to be a more focused force for all the above tracts of Justice in our world,  and believe there is ALWAYS room for improvement and work.
