Developing a Centre

How do we develop a Centre at our parish?

Components of a healthy and thriving Centre for Spiritual Renewal:

Diocesan support. The DONW is in full support of your church having a Centre for Spiritual Renewal. Parish Development Funds are making this opportunity available with coaching and administration assistance.
A willing parish priest and a supportive parish council. Support and participation by the clergy and leadership of a church is vital for spiritual growth and renewal.
An informed congregation (on-going.) Data collection from the congregation to offer what is desired. Continued promotion and reporting to the congregation.
A parish Centre leadership team or support person. One or a few people that are passionate about spiritual renewal and having and maintaining a Centre. Meet occasionally and assist with the program ideas, set up, refreshments, registrations, record keeping, website updates, etc…
A seasonal parish program – This includes already established formation events plus any new opportunities that emerge from the congregation or community plus any events that are planned by the Inter-Parish Centre.
