In the visible world of nature, a great truth is concealed in plain sight: diminishment and beauty, darkness and light, death and life are not opposites. They are held together in the paradox of “hidden wholeness…Autumn constantly reminds me that my daily dyings are necessary precursors to new life."
– Parker Palmer, Let Your Life Speak
Come and join us as we take time to listen to Spirit through this season of late autumn in the Northern Hemisphere . Through conscious movement, embodied prayer, sacred readings /poetry, and expressive art we will inquire within to discern what is ready to be let go of to make room for what Spirit wants to do deep in our roots.
Just as the fall trees take in the nourishment from their leaves before letting go, we can also use this season to reflect with gratitude on the past season of our lives in order to take in the nourishment to embody the wisdom gained.
For some of us currently in hardships, the season of autumn can also teach us how to let things be, so that these challenges teach us self-compassion as we learn to know ourselves more and deepen our faith.
This workshop is the first of a 4 part series on walking through the seasons with Spirit 2024-25
Part 1 - registration fee options: $40, $20, $10, or full scholarship with no fee - When registering, please select the fee option most appropriate to your means.
